A guideline was released on Thursday by the federal authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA), which explains the procedures for the visa violators to get benefited from the granted Grace period.
The authority through its official Twitter account on Thursday, December 3, 2020, announced that the violators of residency visa can avail of the exemption from all fines and other administrative restrictions, and also they mentioned that this latest development is only applicable for the violations occurred before March 1.
And the authority clearly stated that the last date of the exemption is December 31.

These violators must book a ticket before December 31 with Departure date clearly mentioned on it, and they must appear four hours prior to the departure time at the airport.
The visitors whose visa had got expired before March 1 and travel through Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah airports must appear six hours prior to the departure at the airport in order to attend Amnesty Program.
The violators who travel through Dubai and Al Maktoum must report 48 hours prior to the departure at Dubai civil Aviation Security Centre.
Also, the authorities have mentioned that the violators must take the dependents that are under their sponsorship also along with them while leaving the country.
